You will be responsible for:
  • Responsibility for assigned accounting projects including:
  • Registration and accounting of received and issued invoices and bank statements;
  • Preparation of payment orders;
  • Credit controlling and communication with tenants;
  • Preparation of VAT returns and control reports;
  • Processing of statistical reports according to legislation;
  • Participation in quarterly and annual financial statements, preparation of accrued items, checking book-keeping entries;
  • Cooperation with auditors, preparation of documents for the audit;
  • Participation in the preparation of statutory reporting and reporting to the head office;
  • Other accounting and administrative work as required;
  • Close cooperation with other members of the Finance Department;

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Ideally 2 year-experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of double-entry accounting and Czech accounting standards;
  • Orientation in the Czech Republic tax system;
  • Advance level of English;
  • Knowledge of Slovak accounting standards and orientation in the Slovak tax system is an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel;
  • Independence and diligence;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to learn new things;
  • Positive attitude;
