Barceló Hotel Group opens the first hotel in Poland

Barceló Warsaw Powiśle, a new 4-star hotel with 151 rooms, will stand out with unique interiors and an ideal location in the most fashionable district of Warsaw. With this new opening, Barceló Hotel Group strengthens its international expansion in Central Europe. Currently, the company manages seven hotels in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic. This summer, the chain plans to open a new hotel in the capital of Slovenia - Ljubljana.

June 2023 – Barceló Hotel Group announced the opening of Barceló Warsaw Powiśle, a new 4-star avant-garde hotel with 151 rooms and apartments, located in the center of Warsaw. The hotel is located on the premises of the Elektrownia Powiśle, which has supplied the city with energy for almost 100 years, and has now been transformed into a spectacular mixed-use project with over 70 restaurants and shops. Combining the character of a power plant with impressive industrial design, the hotel is a perfect addition to this new, culturally developing district of Warsaw.
